Well, this does not support playing .flac files with iTunes right now.

When will it be ready? This is an honorable effort and much-needed solution. For all of us that enjoy the abundance of great live music available on the internet that is lossless, legal, and often free this would be great. The ability to play these tunes at high quality without spending tons of time converting (and losing quality) directly in iTunes would be amazing. Curse Apple for not jumping on board with FLAC and OGG. Way to step up to the plate. I'm cheering for you
