TrueHD, Dolby's New Lossless Format for HD-DVD

At the recent CEDIA Expo Dolby announced a new lossless audio format to be used on the upcoming Blu-ray and HD-DVD discs. Dolby TrueHD also supports the new speaker locations set by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and has been chosen as the mandatory format for all HD-DVD discs but an optional format for Blu-ray discs.
