It Came From CES: Oyster Wifi Speakers

It's the time of the year where we get to see all of the bleeding edge, innovative and sometimes plain weird electronics that are showcased at CES. This year there are many new products that have support for some of the more popular lossless formats and in this post we will introduce a new brand of Wifi speakers that are anything but ordinary. The Oyster Wifi speakers made by Avega are the first UPnP enabled speakers with built-in 802.11a/b/g, amplifier and surround sound decoding. The Avega Oysters can be connected to your PC or Media Server via Wifi or to a Ipod or CD/DVD player. The speakers also have built-in decoders that support PCM, WAV, FLAC, OGG, AAC, WMA, MP3 as well as a host of Dolby formats (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, Prologic IIx, DTS ES, 96/24 and NEO.
